About Kristina

A career spent inside education—and focused on what it can become.

Kristina Scott-Quinlan, Ed.D., helps leaders design learning systems that are more coherent, equitable, and capable of helping people grow.

Kristina is an associate dean, professor, national education consultant, and founder of Quinlan Education Specialists. Her work spans K–12 schooling, educator preparation, higher education, program evaluation, and system improvement.

Before entering higher education, she built autism programs serving students across elementary and middle grades. That early work made one fact difficult to ignore: people in education overwhelmingly want to do right by learners, yet systems can still make success difficult to reach. Her work now centers on closing that distance between intention and design.

Kristina has led more than 65 education-program reviews across 15 states; supported quality assurance for more than 300 reviews in 22 states; and trained more than 90 evaluators in evidence-based review. She works with state agencies, universities, school systems, and national organizations to develop credible evidence and practical improvement paths.
